Feeling overwhelmed by classes, deadlines, work, and life after graduation? This interactive workshop breaks down realistic, research-backed strategies to help you take control of your time, reduce procrastination, and work more efficiently—without burning out. Designed especially for students preparing to enter the job market, this session focuses on tools you can actually use right away.

Facilitator: Caleb Valentin, LMHC Psychological Counselor & Mental Health Educator Counseling & Wellness Services, Division of Student Affairs Hunter College, CUNY

Students will gain:

  • A clear understanding of where their time really goes—and how to take it back
  • Practical techniques to beat procrastination (even when motivation is low)
  • Simple systems for prioritizing tasks and managing competing deadlines
  • Strategies for balancing academics, job searching, and personal life
  • Tools to build habits that translate directly to workplace success
  • Increased confidence in managing responsibilities in college and beyond

Takeaway: Walk away with actionable strategies you can apply the same day—and a game plan for managing your time more intentionally as you transition into your career.
