Join a group of students to see live performances of Stravinsky, Marsalis, and Caroline Mallonee at theNew York Philharmonic.
Stravinsky’s Petrushka tells the fanciful story of puppets coming to life through the composer’s iconically effervescent score. Violinist Nicola Benedetti performs the jazz-influenced concerto written for her by composer and trumpeter Wynton Marsalis. Conductor David Robertson opens the program with Lakeside Game, a new work by Caroline Mallonee commissioned as part of the NY Phil’s Project 19.
Students with confirmed tickets will meet at 1:30 pm, the concert begins at 2:00 pm.
