Fall 2023 Degree Admission - GRE/GMAT Waiver
The Hunter College Senate recently approved a GRE/GMAT waiver for applicants applying to the following programs:
MS Accounting, MA Anthropology, MA Art History, MA Biochemistry, MA Computer Science MA Economics, MA English Literature, MA French, MS Geoinformatics, MA History, MA Italian, MA in Psychology, MA Pure Mathematics, and MA in Statistics & Applied Math, and MA Spanish
The faculty of the School of Education also voted to waive the GRE admission requirement for Spring 2023 and Fall 2023 applicants.
Application Fee Waivers
Current Hunter College Seniors Application Fee Waiver Current Hunter College seniors (undergraduates graduating with their first bachelor's degree from Hunter College) could be eligible for an application fee waiver. Contact gradadmissions@hunter.cuny.edu to find out how to request an application fee waiver. When submitting the online graduate degree application, select 'Pay by Check' but do not submit a payment.
CUNY Sponsored Application Fee Applicants who submit an application prior to June 30, 2023 to the following programs are eligible for a sponsored application fee:
Adolescent Mathematics (Grades 7-12), MA and Post Master's Advance Certificate |
Adolescent Mathematics Professional Certificate, MA |
Childhood Education with a Specialization in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), MSEd |
Elementary Math Specialist, MSEd |
