Spring 2024 Degree Admission - GRE/GMAT Waiver

The Hunter College Senate recently approved a GRE/GMAT waiver for applicants applying to the following programs:

MS Accounting, MA Anthropology, MA Art History, MA Biochemistry, MA Computer Science MA Economics, MA English Literature, MA French, MS Geoinformatics, MA History, MA Italian, MA Psychology, MA Pure Mathematics, and MA Statistics & Applied Math, and MA Spanish

The faculty of the School of Education also voted to waive the GRE admission requirement for Spring 2024 and Fall 2024 applicants.

 

Fall 2024 Degree Admission - GRE/GMAT Waiver

The Hunter College Senate recently approved a GRE/GMAT waiver for applicants applying to the following programs:

Application Fee Waivers

Current Hunter College Seniors Application Fee Waiver Current Hunter College seniors (undergraduates graduating with their first bachelor's degree from Hunter College) could be eligible for an application fee waiver. Contact gradadmissions@hunter.cuny.edu to find out how to request an application fee waiver. When submitting the online graduate degree application, select 'Pay by Check' but do not submit a payment.

Applicants who submit an application to the following programs prior to June 30, 2024 are eligible for a sponsored application fee. These programs are listed below:

Adolescent Mathematics Education (Grades 7-12) - Master's and Post Master's Advanced Certificate
Adolescent Mathematics Professional Certificate (Grades 7-12) - Master's
Childhood Education with a Specialization in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) - Master's
Elementary Math Specialist - Master's
Bilingual Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) -Master's
Bilingual Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2) - Master's
Bilingual Education Extension for Teachers- Advance Certificate
Bilingual Extension for Pupil Personnel Services - Advance Certificate
