Re: Fall Open Enrollment Annual Transfer Period for Plan Year 2023
The annual transfer period for health insurance changes will be during the month of November beginning on 11/1/22 through 11/30/22. During this period, you may do the following:
- Transfer to another health insurance plan
- Add or drop an optional rider
- Add or drop dependents
Any changes made will become effective on the first full payroll period in January 2023.
Please remember to update the following:
- Address update
- Marital status update
- Domestic partner status update
Please note: health insurance rate changes were effective in October 2022. You may either see an increase or decrease in health insurance premiums in your paycheck. To view the Health Benefits program rate chart, Please visit: www.nyc.gov/hbp
The annual transfer period for Flexible Spending Programs will be during October 17, 2022 through November 18, 2022. During this period, you may do the following:
- Enroll into the DeCap program: minimum contribution $500, Maximum contribution $5000.
- Enroll into the HCFSA program: minimum contribution $260, Maximum contribution $2,850.
- Enroll into the Buy-Out Waiver program
Enrollments will be become effective January 1, 2023. To review the FSA Brochure for plan year 2023, please visit: www.nyc.gov/fsa. Please submit enrollment and/or re-enrollment forms to Https://nyc-fsa.leapfile.net. If you do not want to re-enroll into the DeCap or HCFSA for plan year 2023, you do not need to do anything.
