Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program Webinar

As most of you already know many CUNY employees qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program through the U.S. Dept of Education and that there is a temporary waiver opportunity available through October 31, 2022. UBO will present some information on this next week at our Benefits Officer Meeting – but I wanted to let you know about an upcoming educational webinar that is available to all CUNY employees who are looking to learn more about the program.
Next week on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 10am, the Education Debt Consumer Assistance Program will host a webinar exclusively for CUNY employees entitled “Getting to Zero Student Loan Debt Through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.” This webinar will provide up to date information on how our employees can benefit from the PSLF Program and the temporary waiver opportunity. They will go through eligibility requirements, explain the application process, and answer questions.
