Re: US COVID 19 Travel Advisory- Executive Order 205
In response to increased rates of COVID-19 transmission in certain states within the United States, and to protect New York’s successful containment of COVID-19, the State has issued a travel advisory for anyone returning from travel tostates that have a significant degree of community-wide spread of COVID-19. An increase is defined as states that have a positive test rate of higher than 10 per 10,000 residents or higher than a 10% positivity rate over a 7 -day rollingaverage. If an employee travels to one of these states for longer than 24 hours, the employee will be required to self- quarantine for 14 days. In instances where the employee has been directed to perform their work on campus, and their responsibilities do not lend itself to remote work, leave balances must be charged during this two-week quarantine.
