About the CIE Program
CIE helps Hunter students connect what they learn in the classroom to real-world career opportunities. Through personalized advising, career exploration, and hands-on preparation, students gain the skills and confidence needed to pursue internships, research roles, and meaningful full-time positions. The program supports students from their first year through graduation and beyond, offering coaching on resumes, portfolios, interviews, networking, and professional development. CIE also collaborates with employers, faculty, and alumni to open doors to competitive internships and emerging pathways in media, communications, healthcare, research, design, journalism, marketing, and more.

CIE supports students across different academic majors by offering tailored advising, career preparation, and hands-on opportunities. Whether you are pursuing Film and Media or Human Biology, CIE provides guidance that aligns with your goals and future pathways.
The CIE program gives Film & Media majors access to industry partners, hands-on production experiences, media internships, and portfolio support across journalism, design, communications, and digital production.
Human Biology students receive structured advising, healthcare career exploration, support in finding clinical research roles, and access to the PATH certificate and career readiness modules.
