Wireless Services
Hunter College maintains an extensive wireless network across all of its campus locations. Regardless of where users connect from, the network operates in a predictable and reliable manner, providing everyone with simplicity, mobility, consistency, transparency, and security. Wireless devices can move freely within wireless service areas without losing network connectivity.
Faculty, Staff and Students can connect to HunterSecure by following the appropriate instructions for their device below.

- What is my user name and password?
- Use your Hunter NetID and password.
- What network do I use?
- Choose “HunterSecure” when connecting to a wireless network.
- My login information works for email but not for wireless.

- I am visiting Hunter College as a guest, but I need access to wireless?
- If you a guest on campus and require wireless services, please check with the department to see if a guest account is already available. If it is not, a request can be made by a Hunter affiliated faculty or staff member to create a temporary (up to 14 day) account. If longer access is required please contact Help Desk. - Does Hunter offer Eduroam wireless services?
- Yes, we provide wireless access for visiting students and faculty of Eduroam participating institutions. Please use the Eduroam SSID to connect.
- I am getting an invalid username and password error.
- It means you entered either your username or password incorrectly. Please try again. If that fails, contact the appropriate Help Desk.
- How do I connect my IoT or other device to HunterSecure?
- If you're device does not support connecting to HunterSecure, please contact the Help Desk for further assistance.
