Congratulations to Dr. Sherry Greenberg, Evelyn Lauder Chair in Adult Gerontology, who has been selected as a Health and Aging Policy Fellow for 2025–2026. This prestigious year-long fellowship provides leaders in health and aging with the opportunity to gain in-depth experience in policy development and advocacy.
Dr. Greenberg will begin the program with an intensive policy and political science orientation in Washington, D.C., focused on current issues, communication, and professional networking. Throughout the year, she will work on a mentored health and aging policy project that aligns with her commitment to improving conditions for older adults and their caregivers.
In Dr. Greenberg’s own words, “The fellowship will inform education, practice, research, and policy endeavors at Hunter Nursing and further the school vision to shape nurse leaders advancing equity for a thriving, healthier world.”
