On 11/17/25, Hunter hosted this program as part of the Robert Seltzer Lunch Lecture Series.
Filmmaker Simon Glass explored his family history and told the story of the Yorkshire Jews in the early 20th century. Destined for America, thousands of migrants arrived by boat on the east coast of England and settled in a run-down slum area of Leeds known as the Leylands. For the first time in four generations, Simon travels back to his ancestral home in eastern Europe where he makes a shocking discovery about what happened to his relatives who did not migrate to Britain.
