Kyra Abbu, a Hunter College junior and first-year scholar in the McNulty Scholars Program, has recently accepted an offer to join Oscar Health as a technical product manager intern for summer 2021. Oscar Health is the first health insurance company built around a full-stack technology platform. It is currently the third-largest for-profit national insurer in the Individual market.
Kyra is a computer science major, with a focus on public health data science and brain and cognitive science. She is also a co-author of a recently submitted manuscript to the Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling on a new method for modeling and predicting chemical-protein interactions.
