Due to the severity of the winter storm and the travel challenges it poses, Hunter College is shifting to remote instruction and remote operations on Monday, January 26.
What to expect
- All classes will be conducted remotely on Monday. Students should expect to hear directly from their professors with details on how to attend class remotely.
- Course communication and remote access information will be shared primarily through Hunter email and Brightspace.
- The 68th Street Campus, the Silberman School of Social Work building, and the MFA facility at 205 Hudson Street will be open to students who can travel safely to attend remote classes using personal laptops in designated spaces, including the cafeteria and the library at 68th Street.
- Faculty and nonessential staff should plan to work remotely and monitor Hunter email for any additional guidance from supervisors.
We appreciate your flexibility as we work with CUNY leadership to ensure a safe start to the semester.
Please continue to monitor your Hunter email and the Hunter website for updates.
