• Strategic Communication Planning: Develop comprehensive communication strategies aligned with Hunter College’s goals and objectives to effectively reach target audiences.
• Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets to generate positive coverage of Hunter College’s initiatives, achievements, faculty expertise, and events.
• Content Creation: Produce compelling and relevant content, including articles, press releases, feature stories, videos, and multimedia assets, to showcase the College’s academic excellence, research advancements, student success stories, and community impact.
• Brand Management: Safeguard and promote the Hunter College brand identity and messaging across all communication channels, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Digital and Social Media Management: Oversee the College’s digital presence, including website content, social media platforms, and email marketing campaigns, to engage audiences and enhance visibility.
• Publications: Produce high-quality print materials, such as brochures, newsletters, annual reports, and marketing collateral, to inform and engage various stakeholders about Hunter College’s programs, achievements, and opportunities.
• Event Promotion: Collaborate with departments across the College to promote events, lectures, performances, and exhibitions to internal and external audiences through targeted communication efforts.
• Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address and mitigate reputational risks and manage communication during emergencies or sensitive situations.
