Asia Society and Museum

Just one block North of Hunter College is the Asia Society and Museum. Directed by Hunter MA alumnus Yasufumi Nakamori, Asia Society encourages collaboration across the fields of arts, business, culture, education, and policy. The museum features both traditional Asian art and contemporary art by Asian and Asian American artists. Within the museum you can also find the Leo Café, a tree filled escape from the city, which offers diverse Asian dishes. Nakamori himself has visited Hunter for a career insights event, talking with students about his career path.
