They also accept applications to exhibit work by local artists both in their visitor center as well as throughout the garden.

Queens Botanical Garden
The entrance to the Queens Botanical Garden is framed by two blue atlas cedars that were taken as plantings from the 1939 New York’s World Fair. What started as a temporary horticulture exhibit at the Fair has now grown into an urban oasis in one of New York’s most bustling and diverse neighborhoods. The garden provides 39-acres of various trees, flowering plants, and themed gardens.
