The Jazz Gallery

Starting as a humble rehearsal space and art gallery, the Jazz Gallery has grown into an international cultural center that now hosts more than 400 shows a year. The gallery supports emerging jazz artists through residencies, commissions, performances, and exhibitions. It’s been called, “the most imaginatively booked jazz club in New York” by The New York Times.

Hunter students have interned with Jazz Gallery and taken jobs there after graduating. Students interested in internships should email ooa@hunter.cuny.edu to ask about availability

Students can purchase a yearly membership for $60, providing free or discounted ticket prices as well as access to other special events.
