Chris has nearly two decades of experience teaching courses in history and gender/sexuality studies, including at Rutgers-Newark and Lehman College. His work focuses on the intersections of the history of capitalism and queer networks and communities in the twentieth century. He is currently preparing a manuscript for a book entitled Gay Ghetto to Free Territory: Entrepreneurship and the Transformation of Queer Life in New York City.
