Welcome to Hunter! My name is Joanna Perez, and I began working in the Office of Advising in October 2024. I am also a CUNY alumna, having earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Brooklyn College. During my time at Brooklyn College, I also gained valuable experience in financial services and immigrant student resources while working in the Financial Aid Office and the Immigration Student Success Office (ISSO). These roles have helped me realize my passion for supporting students and assisting them in achieving their personal, academic, and professional goals. As an academic advisor, I am excited to continue encouraging students and helping them navigate their college experience. Outside of work, I enjoy going to cafes, concerts, traveling, and reading.
