Sebastian Flynn-Roach is the EHS Manager for Hunter College and graduated from SUNY Oswego with an MS in Chemistry. Prior to joining Hunter College, Sebastian was the EH&S Senior Manager at Columbia University, where he led an Operations Team of safety professionals responsible for conducting laboratory services and safety consultations for Principal Investigators (PIs) and major scientific research projects. Sebastian has expertise in laboratory safety, chemical hygiene, and regulatory compliance. He enjoys working closely with PIs, scientists, and innovators to develop and incorporate safety procedures into all aspects of scientific development, particularly during early-stage bench-top research and experimental design phases.
