Often described as an effort to carry scientific knowledge “from bench to bedside,” translational medicine builds on basic research advances—studies of biological processes using cell cultures, for example, or animal models—and uses them to develop new therapies or medical procedures.

Translational scientists are innovative and collaborative, searching for ways to break down barriers in the translation process and ultimately deliver more treatments to more patients more quickly. Join us as we explore a career in translational medicine.

This PPAP 1002 series seminar is required for freshman Pre-Health students.
