Mr. Aksu is the Program Manager at the Uyghur Human Rights Project as well as a 2021-2022 fellow in the Eurasia Foundation Young Professionals Network.
His research interests focus on language policy and “surplus labor transfer” in East Turkistan/Xinjiang and the international Uyghur refugee crisis.
Mustafa has spoken on the Uyghur crisis at universities, churches, mosques, and synagogues.
