The Hunter College Pre-Law Program draws on one of the most diverse student bodies in the nation, and our students are committed to higher education. The program is open to current degree seeking students and alumni.

The program offers a variety of seminars, workshops, and panels to provide insight into the work of lawyers and the demands of a legal career, legal education, and anticipating law school. We support funded summer internship opportunities; a subsidized LSAT class; special moot court January program; and application stipends to help you reach your goals.

On the advising front, the office provides a full range of information and counseling to help you plan your legal career: course selection, resume building, LSAT prep, and assistance in helping you explore your interest in a potential legal career.

We offer one-on-one help in all aspects of the law school application process, including school selection, waitlist issues, disciplinary issues, merit funding and more. We discuss and review all components of your application in real time. We do not accept email submissions. Please attend a law school application workshop (offered multiple times in spring, summer, and fall) before setting up an admissions-related appointment.
