SEEK Summer Bridge Program

The SEEK Summer Bridge Program is a mandatory four-week, non-residential program for incoming freshmen SEEK participants. During the summer prior to their first academic year at Hunter College, summer participants take non-credit-bearing introductory courses in English, Writing, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Participants attend weekly skill-building workshops, daily tutorials, cultural events (e.g. museums), team-building exercises, and engage in experiential learning. The entire summer experience is deigned to prepare incoming freshmen for the rigorous academic work required of matriculated Hunter College students

Based on individual student performance during the summer program, the SEEK staff and faculty work with participants to develop an Educational Action Plan which will map out each student's career at Hunter.
