Co-curricular activities are a critical part of college experience, and the Division of Student Affairs offers a diverse range of programs and services to support student success. Our programs complement the learning that takes place in the classroom and enhance the overall educational experience of students. We also provide leadership and strategic support to these programs to help ensure that they are responsive to your needs as well as aligned with the core values of Hunter College.

Office of AccessABILITYWe provide services to all students with permanent or temporary disabilities, to ensure that Hunter College programs and activities are accessible. Our office collaborates with the other departments and divisions of the college to facilitate and advocate for students, and assist students to maximize their potential, while helping them develop and maintain independence. Our philosophy is one that promotes self-awareness, self-determination, and self-advocacy in a comprehensively accessible environment. |

Admissions and Recruitment
We review and process student admissions applications, answer questions, and help students transfer credits. Our primary responsibility is to maintain the integrity of the admissions process, thus ensuring efficient and systematic evaluation of credentials. We are also committed to recruiting students who have achieved academic excellence and reflect New York City's diversity. We partner with NYC high schools and community organizations, offer pre-admissions academic advising, and host events and tours that educate prospective students about Hunter College. We also collaborate with other offices to provide programs and events for new Hunter students, including Hunter College Accepted Students Day. |

Office of AdvisingOur Academic Advisors provide Hunter's undergraduates with information and advisement related to course and program requirements; curricular offerings; college procedures, regulations, policies, and personal concerns. Athletics, Recreation and IntramuralsWe attract, retain, and graduate the finest student athletes, whose athletic excellence is supported within the context of Hunter's academic mission. Home to eighteen NCAA Division III varsity programs, we are committed to ensuring that each student athlete benefits from a supportive academic environment, highly qualified coaches and updated facilities for competition and practice. We provide numerous recreational opportunities to the Hunter community, including: the fitness center; tennis and racquetball courts; swimming pool; and programs in yoga, pilates, kickboxing, core-robics and zumba. |

Children's Learning CenterOur center is a quality childcare learning facility for the children of Hunter students. We provide a rich, developmentally appropriate environment for children while their parents attend classes or perform other college-related work. We offer a Preschool Program for children 2.5 years to 6 years old, and an After-school Program for children 6 to 12 years old. Our programs are open during the academic year as well as during summer sessions. |

Career Development ServicesOur staff provides comprehensive career services to students and alumni. Counselors are available to help you choose a major/career path, create a strong resume and cover letter, and prepare for job and internship interviews. We offer a wide variety of events such as careers expos, workshops, career panels, and on-campus employer interviews and information sessions. Counseling & Wellness ServicesWe provide mental health and wellness services aimed at enhancing students’ quality of life and maximizing personal and academic growth and development. Counseling Services provides short-term individual counseling, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, outreach, and referral to other services. We also offer consultation services to faculty, staff, students and others. Health Promotion & Education is dedicated to educating students about health-related topics and equipping them with skills to make informed decisions about their health and well-being, while developing healthy lifestyle practices. |

Financial Aid
We provide the knowledge and services that Hunter students need to obtain financing for their higher education, and ensure that their applications for financial aid are fully prepared and processed on time. We help students obtain the maximum possible federal, state, and institutional funding to offset the rising cost of education and living expenses. |

International Students OfficeHunter College has more than 400 students from 80 countries around the world. Our office creates a supportive environment and assists these students in making a cultural transition and reaching their educational goals. We inform our international students about their rights and responsibilities relative to their immigration status, including employment options, taxation concerns, change of status questions, and ensuring legal compliance for both Hunter College and the students. |

OneStop for StudentsThe One Stop for Students Office is dedicated to providing centralized, individualized, and efficient services for the Hunter College community by sharing prompt and reliable assistance with transcripts, enrollment verifications, major/minor declarations, registration assistance, DAAF submission, diploma pick up, establishing residency, general Financial Aid/Bursar questions and any other enrollment related questions. |

RegistrarThe Registrar's Office works in partnership with other divisions, offices and units of Hunter College to ensure the integrity of the Hunter College degree. We provide assistance with registration including course scheduling, permission to take classes at another college and resolving registration issues. We maintain students' official records, such as transcripts, grades, academic variances and FERPA compliance. We also confer degrees and distribute diplomas. Residence Life / Living@HunterOur Residences offer a variety of room configurations and amenities, all within easy commuting distance of campus. Our student residents are involved in social, educational, and cultural programs designed to enrich their learning experience and promote positive relationships within the residences and the community at large. |

Student ActivitiesOur programs encourage and support a wide variety of student activities, including athletics, recreation, student clubs and organizations, performing arts, and student government. We also provide opportunities for students to achieve a better understanding of, and appreciation for, the cultures of others. |

Office of Student Conduct
We are responsible for acting on behalf of Hunter College in matters of student discipline, including academic integrity. Our mission is to educate students in developing an understanding of individual responsibility, personal development, and accountability while promoting concepts of fairness and due process. |

Student LifeWe oversee and support the Office of Student Activities, the College Association, Children's Learning Center, student governments and organizations, student publications and broadcast, and other student-oriented programs under the auspices of the Division of Student Affairs. We edit several news bulletins, such as the Graduate Student Association's and Undergraduate Student Governments' G-Blasts. We also manage the Hunter College Mentoring Program. This initiative pairs Hunter alumni and friends of the College with current students who are looking for career guidance and life lessons. Mentoring is the fulfillment of Hunter's motto, Mihi Cura Futuri - the care of the future is mine. |

The Testing CenterWe provide a secure, professional testing environment, and promote honesty, integrity and fairness in all testing procedures. We offer the highest quality of services possible to students and academic departments seeking to have their examinations officially invigilated, while simultaneously executing the conditions requested by the institution providing the exam. |
