PTK Direct Admissions Process

Hunter College makes it simple for PTK members to take the next step in their academic journey.

Step 1: Tell us about yourself

Complete our PTK Direct Admissions Interest Form and upload your supporting documents.

Step 2: Schedule your admissions interview

The link to schedule your interview will be sent to your email as soon as you submit the interest form. The short interview is a chance for us to learn more about your goals and academic background, and a chance for you to ask questions about Hunter College. You will get your decision on the spot!

Next steps

If you’re admitted, we will ask you to:

  • Submit the official CUNY Transfer Application
  • Pay the application fee
  • Send us your official transcripts

PTK Scholarship

The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship recognizes outstanding community college students who are members of the PTK Honor Society, in the last semester of their associate’s degree, and are transferring to Hunter College. It provides merit-based financial support to help high-achieving transfer students continue their education and leadership development.
