About Career Days
Interested in social impact careers? Join our 2021 Public/Private Impact Career Days to connect with employers from government divisions, non-profits, and a variety of for-profit organizations engaged in social impact work.
WHO: CUNY master’s & doctoral students, alumni, and postdocs
WHEN: Wednesday, November 10, 2021: Nonprofit & Governmental Organizations | 12:00-2:00 p.m.
& Friday, November 12, 2021: Private Sector Organizations | 12:00-2:00 p.m.
WHERE: virtual Zoom sessions
HOW: Each career day will run in four blocks. For each block, an employers will spend 30 minutes giving a short introduction to their organization and current recruiting—which will include internships, jobs, fellowships, and other opportunities for graduate-level students and alumni—followed by an open Q&A. Employers will restart this cycle at the top of each block for a total of four mini sessions over the course of the event. You will be able to enter and exit the breakout rooms as you please; however, we encourage you to stay for the duration of an organization’s discussion to get the most out them.
- Attendee Orientation: 12:00-12:05 p.m.
- Block One: 12:05-12:30 p.m.
- Block Two: 12:30-1:00 p.m.
- Block Three: 1:00-1:30 p.m.
- Block Four: 1:30-2:00 p.m.
