Last year in October, Resorts World New York City held our first in-person Career Day at our new Hyatt Regency hotel. We would love to continue the tradition as our last one was very successful. We are hosting our Career Day in-person on November 18th, 2022 at 11 am.

We invite your students to attend Career Day with us. We have a robust roster of speakers in the gaming and hospitality industry, who will share their career journey with the students. A moderator will lead a Q&A and students can ask questions about the speaker's career. After the Q&A, the students will receive a tour of both the casino and the new Hyatt Regency hotel. This career day, is also in conjunction with Senator Addabbo’s Job Fair. Students are welcomed to bring their resume and ask about current openings at our establishment.

Our third cohort of the Gumbo Coalition University. In December 2021, ten students we chosen to be Gumbo Coalition Scholars after participating in our virtual career day and applying to the program. They participated in bi-weekly virtual leadership classes taught by esteemed leaders, including Marc Morial, President of the National Urban League. The Gumbo Coalition University is slated to start in January 2023.
