SUMMER INTENSIVE FOR PUBLIC POLICY

The Edward T. Rogowsky Internship Program is pleased to announce a new summer initiative designed by CUNY's Office of Continuing Education & Workforce Programs. This training is free and at no cost to students!

The CUNY Summer Intensive for Public Policy is a 4-day online training intended to guide students through the phases of policy making from issue identification to implementation. Through career exploration and development, students also get closer to impactful, decision-making roles in government and business.

Part of making the world a better place is making better decisions. Whether it is in public policy or business, the world needs a new wave of leaders and decision-makers who will answer the call for a more equitable society.

CUNY seeks to prepare students to fill those roles.

Faculty, facilitators and presenters will include leaders with experience in federal, state, and local service agencies and non-governmental organizations. The training will help students understand how good policy is made in a diverse, dynamic setting like New York. This training will include:

- Professional presentations

- Interactive online activities

- Career development and exploration
