New students can pay their commitment deposit online, in person or through the mail.

1) ONLINE

• Log-in to your CUNY Portal Account (Please make sure your profile lists Hunter as the primary college).
• Register yourself as a Student.  For instructions on how to do this, please refer to the CUNY Portal ID Walkthrough webpage.
  
• On My Page, scroll down to Student Applications and select eSIMS.
• On the left-hand side in yellow, select the Semester Bill, then the most current semester.
• Follow the directions to pay the deposit.

There are two online payment options:

a) EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) payments made from your bank checking/savings account.

EFTs are FREE of charge with no convenience fee.

b) Credit Card payments using your American Express, MasterCard or Discover Card.  The College does not accept the VISA card.

Credit Card payments incur a 2.65% convenience fee charge in addition to the commitment deposit.

Undergraduate students will be paying a $100 commitment deposit + $2.65 (convenience fee) = $102.65 of which $100 will be credited towards the student's tuition and fee bill.

Graduate students will be paying a $250 commitment deposit + $6.63 (convenience fee) = $256.63 of which $250 will be credited towards the student's tuition and fee bill.

2) IN PERSON

Undergraduate Students:

Print your Commitment Deposit Form from your email acceptance notification and remit it along with cash or check or money order payable to Hunter College in US Funds only by visiting the Bursar's Office on campus, North Building, Room 238.

Graduate Students:

Please bring the bottom of your Commitment Deposit Form and remit it along with cash or check or money order payable to Hunter College in US Funds only by visiting the Bursar's Office on campus, North Building, Room 238.

3) BY MAIL

Undergraduate Students:

Print your Commitment Deposit Form from your email acceptance notification and mail it along with a check or money order payable to Hunter College in US Funds only to the Bursar's Office.

Graduate Students:

Complete the bottom of your Commitment Deposit Form and mail it along with a check or money order payable to Hunter College in US Funds only to the Bursar's Office.
