Gertrude Elion Scholarship: Women Scientist who wish to pursue a graduate degree a Hunter College.  Prefer scholars who have completed all or significant part of her undergraduate degree at Hunter, or an outstanding applicant who has completed her undergraduate training either at Hunter or elsewhere.  Both scholars will study with faculty in the Hunter College Chemistry department in either Chemistry or Biochemistry PhD program.

Helen S. Schectman Award: For first year graduate student and will be based on merit.

Rose K. Rose Award: Female Graduate student in Chemistry who demonstrates excellence as a teaching assistant.

Excellence in Teaching: Department ward for excellence in teaching.
