Tony Award Winner Sarah Jones Brings New Show About Sex Trafficking to Hunter

President Jennifer J. Raab cordially invites you to a staged reading of a new show by the Tony Award-winning creator of Bridge & Tunnel followed by a post-show talkback.

Sell/Buy/Date is a new multi-character, one-person play inspired by stories of real people in the tradition of playwright/performer Sarah Jones' show Bridge & Tunnel. Through her various characters, the piece explores the full humanity, humor, aspirations and resiliency of people affected by the commercial sex industry.

Sarah Jones is a Tony and Obie Award-winning playwright and performer. Called "a master of the genre" by The New York Times, she is perhaps best known to theater audiences for her multi-character, one-person show Bridge & Tunnel -- a critically acclaimed Broadway hit originally produced Off-Broadway by Oscar-winner Meryl Streep and The Culture Project. Sarah is also known for her popular "TED Talks" given at the annual TED Conference, which have millions of views, and has performed in venues ranging from the White House to stages around the world in her capacity as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
