If you have registered for courses and change your mind about attending please be sure to drop all classes, and don’t simply assume the school will run a cancellation process absolving you of any charges. You must withdraw from your classes prior to the first day of the semester to avoid tuition and fee drop charges. Any student that does not officially withdraw from classes prior to the start of the term will be charged tuition and fees based upon the University’s academic calendar.

Pay My Commitment Deposit?

For the Fall 2014 semester, Hunter College will accept payment of the deposit in one of two (2) ways:

  1. IN-PERSON PAYMENTS: 
  2. Undergraduate Graduate
    Room 238 North
    Undergraduate Admissions payable by Check, Money Order, or Cash directly to the Office of the Bursar.
    Room 223 North
    • Graduate Admissions payable by Check or Money Order directly to the Office of Graduate Admissions.
    • Cash payments are to be made directly to the Office of the Bursar, Room 238 North.
    Please submit a copy of your paid receipt to the Office of Graduate Admissions or the SIlberman School of Social Work. 
  3. USPS Mail: Payable by Check or Money Order only to the undergraduate and graduate addresses listed above.  

UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Pay the Commitment Deposit by May 1st

The $100.00 Commitment Deposit:

  • is applied to your first semester tuition charges
  • reserves your seat at the College
  • enables you to register for orientation
  • enables you to register for classes

To Pay the Deposit:

  1. Print your Commitment Deposit Form from your MyChoice account (https://cunyhunter.askadmissions.net/vip/)
  2. Attach the form to your payment.
  3. Record your Social Security number or EMPLID on your check or money order payable to Hunter College.
  4. Submit your payment to the Bursar's Office Rm. 238 North.

Graduate Students:

Commitment deposits are due three weeks from the date on your acceptance letter.

The $250.00 Commitment Deposit:

  • is applied to your first semester tuition charges
  • reserves your seat in the graduate program
  • enables you to register for classes

To Pay the Deposit:

1.     Detach the bottom of your Commitment Deposit Form (the Commitment Deposit Form will be included in your letter of acceptance).

2.     Record your Applicant (AY) ID Number on your check or money order payable to Hunter College.

3.     Submit your payment to either the Office of Graduate Admissions or the Silberman School of Social Work.
