Accommodations Made for CUNYfirst Service Disruption

For the past few days, CUNYfirst has been experiencing service disruptions that have impacted our students, faculty and staff. This is a CUNY-wide problem and the University is working to resolve the issue. PLEASE, because CUNYfirst experiences less traffic during off-peak hours (late evening through early morning hours), we suggest, if possible, to try to access the system during these times.

If you need assistance, stop by Advising Services (Hunter East 1119) or the OneStop office (Hunter North 217).

If you are concerned about fees:

There will be no late registration fees, drop charges or change of program fees charged to students during the registration period, which ends on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 11:59pm. The Bursar's Office at Hunter has also extended the Sallie Mae payment plan enrollment period through September 3.

Note: The university is in the process of making administrative adjustments to the CUNYfirst system so that students are not charged the above mentioned fees. Some students may currently see these charges on their CUNYfirst accounts at the moment, but it is expected that this will be adjusted in the near future.

FACULTY INFORMATION
  • If you are unable to access your schedule and roster, view unofficial class rosters via Hunter's web roster.
  • Hunter requests faculty to make allowances at their discretion for students who have been impacted by these outages and are unable to attend classes because they are unable to access their schedules.
