The Microscopy Laboratory at Hunter College develops new approaches for visualizing the nervous system in vivo. Advances in biophotonics from light-emitting molecules to microscopic instrumentation have allowed us to study the cellular dynamics with micrometer resolutions. Our lab focuses on imaging live tissue using nonlinear optical microscopy and optical coherence tomography.
