			The Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) Program was founded in 1970 as an undergraduate major of the Institute of Health Sciences. The MLS mission is to educate entry level laboratory professionals to accept positions in the wide range of health related laboratories in the New York area. These include: hospital and private diagnostic labs academic research laboratories pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies The rigorous curriculum also provides the academic background to pursue advanced degrees in graduate and professional (medical & dental) schools, as well as advanced clinical certifications. Registration advisement for new and current MLS majors for the Fall 2008 semester will take place on Friday, August 8, 2008 from noon-4pm at Brookdale West, 7th floor (room 700A).  As in previous semesters, some evening classes will be offered, but it is not possible to complete the MLS degree in the evening.  No appointments are necessary. However, if you have not yet been in touch with the program, please send an email to Dr. Steven Einheber at seinhebe@hunter.cuny.edu.  Please include your student ID number so we can confirm that you are ready to begin MLS. revised 06-22-08
