Admission into Hunter College

Hunter College, one of CUNY's senior colleges, offers a wide range of options to veteran students seeking a high-quality liberal arts-oriented education. Hunter has over 15,000 undergraduate students, and approximately 125 enrolled veterans at last count. As a Veteran, you can apply to up to six of the CUNY colleges using a single application, listing your choices in order of preference. CUNY evaluates applications on a rolling basis, except for several special programs. Hunter College will notify you directly if you are accepted to the college and will then communicate directly with you to prepare for enrollment. Veterans seeking non-degree status at Hunter should apply directly to our Office of Admissions in 203 North Building, (212) 772-4490.
