Professor Jason Young and student Joshua Wright Win First Place for Poster at ICP Conference in Paris
Professor Jason Young, of the Psychology Department, together with recent student Joshua Wright, received First Place in the Dayan-O'Rourke Poster Awards competition, hosted at the 2014 International Council of Psychologists (ICP) conference in Paris, France this past summer. The title of their paper was "Religious Identity, Aggression, and Attitudes Towards Violence: Implications for Intergroup Conflict." Joshua is currently a first year student in the PhD program in Social Psychology at the University of Western Ontario. In addition, Professor Young was interviewed this past fall for the documentary "Searching Love in New York." It is being presented at independent documentary award competitions and was just posted on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZJjFYu3Jzk .
