Professor Sarah Chinn's New Book, 'Spectacular Men,' Receives 2017 George Freedley Memorial Award from Theatre Library Association
The 2017 George Freedley Memorial Award for an exemplary work in the field of live theatre or performance has been awarded to Professor Sarah E. Chinn, of the English Department, for Spectacular Men: Race, Gender, and Nation on the Early American Stage, published by Oxford University Press. The 2017 Theatre Library Association (TLA) Book Awards will be presented to the winners at a ceremony in the Café of The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts in New York City, at 7:00 PM on Friday October 12, 2018.
