Two Hunter College Biology Students Participated in 2014 Execptional Research Opportunities Program (EXROP)
Two Hunter College biology students participated in the 2014 Exceptional Research Opportunities Program (EXROP). EXROP received 66 completed applications and made awards to 78 students. A total of 128 HHMI Investigators, Professors, Early Career Scientists, and Janelia Farm Group Leaders volunteered to host a student this summer, and EXROP was able to match 78 students in the labs of 77 HHMI scientists at 33 institutions across the country. Of the 370 EXROP alumni who have completed their baccalaureate degrees, over 50 percent have enrolled in or completed a science graduate program.
