Welcome to December! We are so close to the end of the semester, and it is important to finish strong! Tutoring is available on campus and virtually if needed. It is also the perfect time to finalize your Winter and Spring schedules if you have not done so yet. December Highlights
- ❄️ New York-Presbyterian Holiday Drive!! ❄️
- We are excited to assist with New York Presbyterian-Queens Volunteer Services' Holiday Drive. NYP-Queens is our new partner, providing internships for several Human Biology students. This drive is being held to support adult and pediatric patients across the hospital. Our office will be accepting the following items on behalf of NYPQ.
- New clothing (t-shirts, pajamas, sweatpants, hats, etc.)
- Blankets
- Books
- Puzzles
- Children's toys (no violent or gory toys will be accepted)

- Request to Enroll in HMBIO 401 for Spring 2026!
- If you are approaching your last year at Hunter, you may be ready for HMBIO 401: Senior Capstone! Capstone is a seminar style course that addresses some of the key contemporary topics and debates in human biology from multiple vantage points. Priority for taking Senior Capstone in Spring 2026 will be given to students who plan on graduating in the spring. As a reminder, HMBIO 401 is a graduation requirement for ALL students in the Human Biology Program.

Human Biology majors are invited to apply for the Human Biology CIE Program, which grants students extra advising NOW (from as early as freshman year!) until graduation as they explore career pathways and get one-on-one support finding and applying for internships and jobs!
