It's November! You've just registered for Spring 2026 courses or, if you're graduating this fall, you're preparing to finish your final semester. 💼 Human Biology Program News 🧬
  • Still looking for a Human Biology major course to take this Spring? Check out these OPEN classes!

  • LAST WEEK for Expanded Walk-In Advising!
    • This is the last week we will be offering extra walk-in advising hours to help support students with Spring 2026 registration! Walk-in advising is available this week with Mrs. Michelle Coleman in HN 711 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9AM-12PM and 1PM-3PM!
    • Starting next week, walk-in advising will resume normal hours: Mondays from 9AM-12PM and Tuesdays from 9AM-12PM and 1PM-3:30PM. All other meetings are by appointment via Navigate.
  • Request to Enroll in HMBIO 401 in Spring 2026!
    • If you are approaching your last year at Hunter, you may be ready for HMBIO 401: Senior Capstone! Capstone is a seminar style course that addresses some of the key contemporary topics and debates in human biology from multiple vantage points. Priority for taking Senior Capstone in Spring 2026 will be given to students who plan on graduating in the spring. As a reminder, HMBIO 401 is a graduation requirement for ALL students in the Human Biology Program.

  • Apply for the Human Biology CIE Program (CUNY Inclusive Economy Program)!
    • Want to explore careers in healthcare while gaining internship and job experience? Human Biology majors are invited to apply for the Human Biology CIE Program, which grants students extra advising NOW (from as early as freshman year!) until graduation as they explore career pathways and get one-on-one support finding and applying for internships and jobs! Apply here!

    By participating and submitting the reflection assignment, you can have seven PPAP 1002 seminars waived. This means fewer seminars to attend in the Spring 2026 semester for those who attend.***
