To graduate you are required to take two literature classes. Of all the lit courses Hunter can offer you, there are two that are reserved just for MFA students. These wonderful Literary Traditions courses are unusual in academia in that they both look at literature from a writer's perspective.
The Fall class is taught by Roxana Robinson, author of nine books, most recently the critically acclaimed novel Sparta, which won the James Webb Award and was shortlisted for the IMPAC Dublin Award.
The Spring class is taught by Tracy O'Neill, the acclaimed essayist and novelist, a National Book Foundation '5 Under 35' honoree and editor-in-chief of the literary journal Epiphany. Fasten your seat belts.
