The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Hunter College of the City University of New York offers comprehensive training that can lead to a teaching postion, or industrial, institutional, or government work, as well as graduate study. The major includes lecture courses, laboratory courses, and the opportunity for qualified students to participate in research with faculty members.
