Bio-imaging is the ultimate interdisciplinary advance: fine-scale microscopy allows scientists, including Hunter's bioimaging research group at Belfer, to use advanced physics and chemistry principles to seek and identified diseased cells. The latest boost for this field of research comes from the announcement of 2014 Nobel prize in Chemistry.
