Hunter to host 18th Season of the International Keyboard Institute & Festival, July 17-July 31

Geoffory Burleson, a professor in Hunter's Music Department, will perform at the IKIF on July 18.

This summer, Hunter proudly hosts the 18th Season of the International Keyboard Institute & Festival. Lasting two extraordinary weeks – from July 17 through July 31, 2016 – this festival includes master classes, lectures by music scholars, and concerts by distinguished pianists. We’re especially pleased to present concerts starring virtuoso members of Hunter’s own music faculty.

Every evening at The Kaye Playhouse, the festival audience will enjoy a distinctive, brand new concert. Every day at the Lang Recital Hall, the audience will be able to observe master classes in all their drama and drive for excellence. Every weekend afternoon at the Lang, the audience will be informed and enriched by lectures and other programs. The complete festival schedule is available here.

Concert tickets are $20 each, and only $10 for seniors, Hunter alumni and Hunter students. Full concert passes are available at very reasonable rates. All tickets can be purchased at The Kaye Playhouse Box Office on East 68th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues. You can reach the box office for information and tickets by calling 212-772-4448 or visiting www.hunter.cuny.edu/kayeplayhouse.
