Prof. Shanti Thakur wins Grand Remi Award at Worldfest-Houston
Professor Shanti Thakur’s short film, Red Tulips, A Story About Forgetting won the Grand Remi Award Statuette (Best of the Fest), for Experimental Film at the 46th Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival. With 4,500 submissions, (1400 in the shorts category alone), the festival selected 104 short films. Red Tulips also won Best Narrative Film at the 60th Columbus International Film Festival.
