How do I link to a file?

If you have the file on your computer...

Adding a link to a file is a two-step process:

  1. Upload the file to the Repository.
  2. Create an internal link to the file (just like you would link to another page in the WebCMS).

Follow the links above for detailed instructions for completing each step.

If the file is located on a different website...

As long as you have the complete URL (or web address) of the file, you can link to it in the same way that you would link to an external website. Click here for a step-by-step tutorial.
