The School of Urban Public Health (UPH) at Hunter College is home to Public Health and Nutrition degree programs.

The School offers a BS in Public Health, a BS in Nutrition and Food Science, an accelerated BSMS in Nutrition and Food Science, and an MS in Nutrition. The Nutrition programs offer students opportunities to participate in faculty research.

Here students will learn to contribute to improving urban health by addressing issues such as HIV, substance abuse, violence, asthma, obesity, heart disease, cancer and nutrition.

The School of Urban Public Health is located at the Hunter's Silberman campus, 2180 Third Avenue (at 119th St.) in East Harlem, where we share Hunter's modern "green" building with the Silberman School of Social Work. Faculty and students work with local and regional community organizations as well as health and social service agencies to strengthen existing and create new approaches to improving the well-being of communities.
