Please join us for this upcoming lecture by the distinguished scholar, Thomas Robinson, on Plato's discussion of democracy in his later works. Professor Robinson is Professor Emeritus at University of Toronto and the former President of the International Plato Society and the Society for Ancient Greek Philosophy. In addition to authoring nine books on ancient philosophy, including Plato's Psychology and The Greek Legacy, he has written several plays about ancient Greek philosophy that have been translated and performed in a number of countries. The lecture will take place Wednesday, October 14th, 4:30-6:30pm in the 8th Floor Faculty Lounge in Hunter West. All are welcome! Reception to follow.
